Chub Lake Ranch beef is as natural as it gets. We raise our animals on sustainably managed soil. We make sure that our soil is not damaged by our cattle but is enriched and thriving from their presence on it. This is done by rotational grazing the cattle across the land. It prevents overgrazing, concentrates manure distribution, encourages plant regrowth, and eliminates the need for pesticide or herbicide use on the grass. We are not only cattle farmers, we are grass farmers too. The soil is important to us and the impact we leave behind. Our family is proud to raise cattle which have low stress throughout their lives. We want our mother cows to be friendly towards us and trust us which gives them a happy, low stress life. Therefore, their calves will grow up with low stress as well, they will be easy to handle, and it creates tender meat. We do not inject our animals with anything, we let them grow naturally. We want our beef to be pure and healthy, grass fed and grass finished.
